Hey ya'll.
My main computer is still broken, sorry that I continue to be slow because of that. I'm very picky on what I put up on this page to show, if you want to see my ramblings and bad doodles, go look at my Tumblr at
roguedrawz.tumblr.comAlso!
My con schedule for the next few months has finally been somewhat structurally finalized, all I have to do is buy the tickets for it....
March 30th-April 1st: Emerald City Comiccon- Seattle, WA.
Unfortunately, this will probably be my last convention on the West Coast for awhile. I hope to have the prologue issue of my comic available to see at this con, but, I will not have an Artist's Alley table here- you'll have to find me in the crowd, at the bar, Cheesecake Factory, Gameworks, whatever, to see- can't afford the cost of their AA, unfortunately. Hope to see people for a last huzzah, see some artists I've seen from previous years at ECCC, etc.
April 6th and 7th: PAX East- Boston, MA
As I said in an earlier journal, I'm moving to Boston for job hunting/career/personal reasons. However, 3 day passes have sold out, so for cost related purpose, I am probably going to only attend Friday+Saturday, and skip out on Sunday which, as I discovered last year, not much happened during.
April 8th: Anime Boston, Boston, MA
Well, actually, this one is up in the air, since I have Sunday off, but, it depends on how tired I am after PAX East. I'm actually displeased I can't attend this one fully, whoever the hell decided to put this con the same weekend as effin PAX was stupid.
April 21-22nd: Boston Comic Con, Boston, MA
Other events are up in the air, who knows, I might find a few things in NYC, I have friends there, and it is only a skip and Chinatown/Greyhound bus away from Boston, there's always art things happening in that city.
Theoretically, between now and March, I plan to continue job hunting in both WA and MA (and all over the US, but I doubt I will find some magical company to swoop me off my feet and relocate me), and bury my head and truly work on my webcomic like I've been jabbering about since I graduated (yet life got in the stupid way). Obviously if all goes as I think it probably will, I will be in Boston by April.
Life goes on. Still hoping for a change that actually makes sense, but, I guess I am slowly learning post graduation, that life is an adventure....a scary-as-balls adventure, but one nonetheless...
